Planning meals is a challenge for me lately. Alice is quite
typical toddler, who believes that everything on her plate is not suitable for human
consumption. I have tried to prepare our dinners to include things that she
would consider eatable. However it had led
to the monotony of our meals, and Alice has refused to eat anyway.
I have decided to change the approach to cooking and plan
meals once more. I hope that someday
Alice will try what I have prepared.
I have checked Pintrest looking for ideas on how to plan
meals efficiently. I have gathered a few
ideas together and I had prepared our Meal Binder.
My binder is far from the completion however I have decided
to share with you my idea how to plan meals.
I have started first to think how much time I have to cook
each day of the week. Then I have come
up with the theme of the day. The next step was to write down all dishes for
each theme. Some dishes belong to
several categories.
Every Wednesday evening I look into the binder and choose
from the lists dishes to cook within coming days.
Our themes:
Monday - Traditional (not only the traditional Polish
cuisine, but also dishes that are a tradition in our family)
Tuesday - Pasta
Wednesday - One-pot meals
Thursday - Soup / Sandwiches/ Toasts
Friday - Pancakes, crepes and fritters
Saturday - Something new (we will test new dishes)
Sunday - Favourites and comfort food.
So far so good, so I hope it will be long term solution to
my planning problems.

Postanowilam zmienic podejscie do gotowania i wrocic do planowania posilkow.
Nastepnie wymyslilam temat przewodni danego dnia. Kolejnym etapem bylo wypisanie wszystkich dan ktory mam w swoim repertuarze, ktore podchodza pod dana kategorie. Niektore dania przynaleza do kilku kategorii.
W kazdy srodowy wieczor zagladam do segregatora i wybieram z list potrawy, ktore ugotuje w najblizszych dniach.
Nasze tematy przewodnie:
Wtorek – Makarony
Sroda – Jednogarnkowe dania
Czwartek – Zupa/ Kanapki/ Zapiekanki
Piatek – Nalesniki, placki i placuszki
Sobota – Cos nowego (czyli testujemy nowe dania i jesli przypadna nam do gustu to dopiszemy do odpowiedniej kategorii)
Niedziela – Ulubione/ Comford food.
Jak na chwile obecna planowanie dziala.
